Mewing is an expression often used by teens to convey sarcasm or amusement, particularly in response to someone trying to impress, such as chatting up a girl or showing off their appearance.

Example: “He was trying to chat her up—mewing!”
Means: “He was trying to chat her up—how amusing!”

Example: “He’s really feeling himself in that outfit—mewing”
Means: “He’s really trying to look good in that outfit—(sarcastically) That’s funny!”
