Stan refers to someone who is intensely supportive of a celebrity, artist, or public figure, often to the point of obsession. It can also be used as a verb to show strong support for someone or something.

Example (noun): “She’s a total Beyoncé stan.”
Means: “She’s an extremely devoted fan of Beyoncé.”

Example (verb): “We stan a confident queen.”
Means: “We strongly support and admire a confident woman.”
