Allow means to leave something alone, or to stop someone from doing or addressing something. It’s often used to indicate that something is not worth the effort or attention.
Example: “Allow it fam, he ain’t worth it.”
Means: “Forget about it, he’s not worth your time.”
Example: “Allow that, I am not going.”
Means: “Forget about that, I’m not going.”
